Hope everyones weekend was great. I did another shoot today for my friend. At the same time I discovered a new place to overview the city. It was very peaceful and amazing. Such a lovely day in L.A. I had my camera in one hand and my slurpee on the other. No joke. It was really nice to have the weekend off as well. I really appreciate these guys allowing me to take their pics. Anyway if you want to check out some of the other pictures from the shoot today, just click on the ones on top and it will direct your to my flickr. By the way I think I am in love... with my 50mm lens that is. I think that was the greatest thing I have ever bought... besides my future iphone 5. I am waiting for Verizon to get their hands on that and I'll be upgrading this summer!

Saturday was fun, had movie night with a few friends... and jesus the swedish language is something else. Foreign films are always very interesting to watch. They really go out there. Thank god most of them are not censored... funny how Americans can be very delicate with that stuff. And speaking of film and blah blah blah. I found about a great program at my old university, International Business Communications. I was going to go look into it and see what I decide from there on. The program sounds very interesting and something I would like to do, plus I have experience in Public Relations so I think I'll do find, I hope. Anyway I am literally working on my German... so i'll excuse myself to everyone who I have tried speaking German too... I know it's weird.. but you are benefiting my future. Thank you.
So I was watching a show today... well there was a character on the show that felt that no one cared for him, his friends, family and so on. It got me thinking. I think sometimes we want people to be obvious to us in showing us they care. For example, Valentine's day is coming up and I am sure many women, yes women.. are expecting something. I think we tend to forget to see that we don't need a Valentine's Day to have someone show us the obvious. I think if we stop and notice the little things around us, we will notice how those special people show they care about us. With the little things they say, or do, or even wear, those are hints or reminders that they care about you. I don't even think they need to say it. Maybe it is me... over the weekend it kind of hit me that I was overlooking some thing a few years ago. Too busy focusing on something else that I never took the time to notice something. I know I am being vague here. I don't want to get super personal so i'll leave it at that. But my point is, if someone cares about you, you will know. Maybe it takes time to realize it. Hopefully it is never too late to say thank you for caring for me or to show it back. You know? Not sure if I am making sense.
I've been going for runs like crazy this week. It is such an awesome feeling. I highly recommend it. Put that ipod on and run. Literally. I don't think i've ever felt this healthy or energetic in my life. Tomorrow more RUNNING!. I really wanted to do the marathon in L.A. this year, but I am not going to pay $145 for the city to let me run. plus 26 miles might kill me... although I am sort of intrigued in heading down to San Diego in June and doing the half- marathon... 13 miles. I can totally do it :/..... haha.
Anyway thanks to everyone who reads my blog. Means a lot to me. I hope that it is enjoyable and so on. And I am super excited to see I have 4 followers! Alright I am off to go watch some more foreign films... no super bowl for me. Although those commercials are always brilliant. Have a good one everyone!
